In rats given a chemical that fast-forwards liver aging, regular curcumin helped a bit, while a nanoliposomal version helped considerably more. The nano form restored liver enzymes, improved antioxidant and mitochondrial function, and calmed inflammation. This was rats, not people, but it supports the idea that how curcumin is delivered changes what it can do.
