Longevity events in Barcelona

Nothing on the calendar in Barcelona right now. New dates land here first.

Longevity Barcelona is a free community for people who want more healthy years, working from evidence rather than from whatever the wellness market is selling this season. Half the job is already done here by habit. People walk everywhere, lunch is a proper meal eaten sitting down, and a run along the Barceloneta seafront or a climb up the Carretera de les Aigües on Collserola is available in every month of the year. The other half is where the arguments start, which is roughly what we meet about. The calendar is made of free meetups, expert talks with researchers and clinicians, hands on workshops and the occasional outdoor session when staying inside would be absurd. Regular topics: biological age and what those tests actually measure, sleep in a city that sits down to dinner at ten, nutrition past the postcard version of the Mediterranean diet, strength training, VO2max (how much oxygen your body can use under load) and how to read a blood panel calmly. Biohacking comes up at most events, generally with somebody in the room asking which trial that came from. We are a community, not a clínica de longevidad, not a private health club and not a medical provider. Membership is free, nothing here is for sale, and nobody on our side tests, prescribes or treats. Barcelona carries one of the densest private health markets in southern Europe: anti ageing and longevity clinics around the Eixample and up towards Sarrià, private hospitals selling executive check ups, laboratories that will run a panel without a referral, vitamin drip bars, cold plunge and recovery studios. Members try a fair amount of it and come back with candid opinions, which beats reading a sales page. Our community Spots map gathers labs, gyms and studios as a starting point, and it carries no medical endorsement from us. Who comes: long term residents alongside the very large international and remote working crowd, researchers from the Parc de Recerca Biomèdica next to the beach, clinicians, founders out of the Poblenou tech cluster, and people who mainly want their sleep sorted out. Sessions run in English, Spanish or Catalan depending on who turned up. To take part, open a free account, join the Barcelona WhatsApp group or come to the next date. There is nothing to apply for.

What a longevity meetup in Barcelona looks like

Cold plunges and sauna sessions, morning raves, run clubs, walks, and evening talks with researchers and practitioners. Most run 2 to 3 hours, all are free to attend, and biohacking newcomers are as welcome as people who have been tracking their biomarkers for years. Sign-up is per event.
