What is Longevity Atlanta?+
Longevity Atlanta is the Atlanta chapter of Longevity Cities, a free and non-commercial community for healthy aging that is currently being founded. It will bring people together for walks, talks and conversations on sleep, strength, nutrition and stress, always grounded in research. No scientific background is needed, and no one has to sell or buy anything.
Is there a longevity clinic or longevity doctor in Atlanta?+
Atlanta has private clinics and physicians that offer longevity-style check-ups, but Longevity Atlanta is not one of them: we are a free community and do not diagnose or treat. Clinic programs in the US typically run from a few thousand to over 20,000 dollars a year, and insurance usually does not cover them. Before signing up, ask which physician is responsible for the plan and what decision each test result would change.
Where can I get my biological age tested in Atlanta?+
The common routes are an epigenetic age test you mail in (roughly 200 to 500 dollars), a yearly biomarker blood-testing membership (roughly 350 to 500 dollars a year), or ordering labs through your own doctor. Epigenetic clocks vary between providers, so read one result as a snapshot, not a verdict. For free fitness markers, the site offers a face-age test, a VO2max calculator and a grip-strength test with age norms.
Are there longevity events or meetups in Atlanta?+
Not yet: the Atlanta chapter is new and no events have been published. The first meetups will appear in the calendar on this page with venue, time and any costs, so following the page is the surest way to hear early. Formats used by other Longevity Cities chapters, such as easy group walks, dinners and expert talks, are the likely starting points for Atlanta.
Where could a longevity walking or running group meet in Atlanta?+
No group route is fixed yet, but Atlanta offers good options: the Eastside Trail of the Beltline for an easy walk with cafes nearby, Piedmont Park for a Saturday loop, or the Chattahoochee River for something greener. In summer heat, early mornings and evenings work best. If you would like to host a first walk, tell the founding group.
Does Longevity Atlanta cost anything?+
Longevity Atlanta is free: a free account gives you access to the network, this page and the online tools. A walk along the Beltline or a talk hosted in a donated space will normally cost nothing, while a dinner or a ticketed venue would list its price upfront on the event page. There is no paid membership and no sales pitch.
Where can I find a biohacking or longevity community in Atlanta?+
Longevity Atlanta is being built as a free place in Atlanta to talk biohacking and healthy living with an evidence filter: wearables, sleep, cold exposure, supplements and training, compared against what studies actually show. Atlanta is home to Emory, Georgia Tech and the CDC, so the city has no shortage of people who read papers. Join as a founding member and help set the topics.
I just moved to Atlanta. How can I meet new people who care about their health?+
Create a free account and follow the Atlanta page: the first Longevity Atlanta meetups are built for conversation, so coming alone is normal. Atlanta is a spread-out city, which is why the founding group will pick spots by neighborhood and post the exact address on each event. All adults are welcome, whatever your age, fitness or background.
How can I help start the Longevity Atlanta chapter?+
Founding members and co-organizers are wanted in Atlanta. Create a free account, follow this page and tell the team what you could bring: a venue in your neighborhood, a talk you would like to hear, a walking route or simply a friend who is curious too. The first meetups will be announced here as soon as a date and place are set.
